Networking for Moms
As a mother of three, I spend a lot of time searching for information on all sorts of things, from setting up a budget to finding local parks. Most of my searches involve using online sources, such as yelp.com, blogs by other moms and local events listings. Word of mouth is also a great way to get useful information (i.e. asking friends for copies of their go-to recipes). I've decided to try taking the best information from all of these sources and combining them into a blog network for moms/families. In other words, I'd like to cover subjects that I am interested in knowing more about and having you, my friends and fellow moms, help contribute. A couple examples:
Budgets: Do you have a budget plan that works for you and your family? How does it work? Do you use spreadsheets or financial software or another method?
Camping: Can you recommend a camping spot in the Bay Area or along the Central Coast? Please provide a link to the campsite's reservation website.
Hopefully, you get the idea-to keep an ongoing list of subject areas that are of interest to moms and their families and include your contributions (along with mine) to share with each other. Thanks for joining my network!
